A team of global health experts from the Gates Foundation recently visited clinical sites in Harare, Zimbabwe, meeting with officials from the Ministry of Health, #MCAZ, and #MRCZ. Led by Dr Trevor Mundel, president of global health at the Gates Foundation and Dr Peter Piot, a renowned global microbiologist, they discussed regulatory challenges and strategies to enhance global health research competitiveness, focusing on streamlining processes and integrating digital technology and AI. The delegation also toured ACRN clinical and partner sites, emphasising collaboration in global health initiatives.
